Make your favorite apps send faxes with Zapier

Zapier is a great service. If you aren’t familiar with it yet, Zapier helps you automate tasks by connecting multiple web-services in a simple GUI. For example, you can set up a “zap” (Zapier lingo for integrating apps) to send a fax to your warehouse when a new Freshbooks invoice has been generated. Thanks to Zapier this can be done in minutes and without writing any code.

I’m happy to announce that we’ve integrated the Phaxio Send operation into Zapier. That means that you can now connect any Zapier supported service to Phaxio to send faxes. Additionally, after a fax has been sent you can trigger a Zapier service to perform a task.

Zapier is pretty straightforward, but if you need some help linking your Phaxio and Zapier accounts, check out this getting started guide.

We asked Mary Mangold, a freelance web designer in central Idaho who created some of the first Phaxio Zaps, about her integration process. Mary’s client needed an invoice faxed to their store after a Gravity Form was submitted on their site. “I enabled the Zapier Add-On from my Gravity Forms developer license, and triggered the action to Phaxio for a streamlined, very dependable faxing solution that works great.”

Mary added that she was thrilled with the support, genuine care, and follow-up she received from Zapier/Phaxio to pin down the solution she needed for her clients. “Once I began the configuration process, I was absolutely impressed with how easy it was to implement and customize.”

One more happy customer, all in a day’s work :)
