Until now test faxes at Phaxio could only result in a “successful” fax. Of course you already know that Phaxio gives you the ability to simulate faxes passing through our systems using test API credentials. (For more on test credentials go here.) But what if you need to test what your application would do if the fax failed?

Simply add test_fail as a parameter in your API call and add an error type (found here). For example, if you want to simulate a fax failing due to a document conversion issue, you can use test_fail=documentConversionError in your send call.
